Sentence make sense?

It's the attitude, culture, and demeanor that seperates africans americans and/to africans.

I've heard both seperate and seperates used tho. So I assume both usages are correct?

If you think of them as three separate things, then use the plural form. If you think of these three things as joining together to be considered as one unit, then use the singular form.
