sentence interpertation

I want to understand what these sentences mean; "She will lose the man she desired through pique, but she will win a well-meaning and faithful husband. Her engagements will be somewhat disappointing."

Top answer

book=Third&va=offense --------- This isn't very good writing, it's quite bland and contradictory at times. Perhaps: She's an angry woman. She will lose lovers as a result of this.
