Sentence inquiry

I need your help with these sentences, which I will have to send to a customer:

On September 1st your car was waiting to be picked up by a rail service from Ohio and taken to California.

On September 1st your car was waiting for a rail service to pick it up from Ohio to California.

Are both correct? Any grammatical errors in either one?

Thank you for your help in advance!

I like that thanks.

Just curious, are the other ones grammatically wrong? If yes, please edit any mistake so I could see how it could be used with 'picked up by a..'.

I did not see any corrections on the first one! Does that mean it is completely correct?

Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

Hi again, please tell me if the first sentence is completely correct as I assume it is due to no corrections, and if the use of (to be picked up by a rail service) is appropriate?

Thanks again.
