Hi,
Please, help me correct this sentence. I am not sure if it is good English:
Over the past years, she said, when she returned home from work at her rice field late in the evening, she had to walk to the lake with her cows to wash her body and let her cows drink water.
Thanks

It seems okay at a cursory glance although I think you need to change 'at her rice field' to 'to her rice field' as she is returning from another place TO the field.
