sentence help

is this sentence correct, specifically the use of 'so you change'?

I am going to show you a picture 'so you change' your mind about the place?

Or should it be' to make you change'

Top answer

"so [that] you change your mind" means that a natural consequence of seeing the picture is a change of opinion. "to make you change" implies some coercion is involved.

Thanks a lot. So does that mean that both are correct?

And does (that) mean that that is optional?

deadratYes and yes.
Thank you very much.

Would it also be correct to directly use 'to change' as well? (I am going to show you a picture to change your mind about the place)
