Sentence help

I am sending a message to my instructor and would like to include the below sentence. 1) Is the sentence correct? 2) Is it a second conditional which is unreal and unlikely to happen? 3) Is it appropriate?

It would be great if we could meet up sometime for lunch or dinner.
