Sentence help

Hi,

Is the following sentence is correct?

I knew that, he will go there.

or we can say:

I knew that, he would go there.

I think it's probably because both the two sentences are indirect sentences, but if both the sentences were direct sentences, then I think the first one would be correct?

I think you are saying that both of the following are correct.

He will go there.

He would go there.
