I was wondering which one of the two sentences below is correct:

What happens if you be disappointed or hurt by the actions of others?

What happens if you are disappointed or hurt by the actions of others?

Seems this is a very common mistake even among the native speakers. If you google "If you be", you'll find millions of hits .

One more questions,

I'll be your Rose if you'll be my Jack.

has a future connotation. What would be the present tense version of the sentence?

"I'm your rose if you are my Jack" or
"I become your rose if you beco
