Sentence gramatical structure

Please advise if the following sentence is grammatically correct. I'm particularly concerned about the use of the plural "students" with the singular "record" (...and knowledge base.)

Course and GPA requirements ensure that students referred to employers have a strong academic record and knowledge base.
