I'd like to say in a job cover letter that I know well the needs and problems of countries in transition, because I'm coming from such a country.
Ex.:
"The needs and problems of such countries are very familiar to me because of my origin"
"I'm familiar with the needs and problems of such countries because of my origin"
"I'm well-aware of the need of problems because of my origin"
