Sentence-error correction

1. I left the door open.

2. They named her Jane.

3. They often encourage me to work harder.

4. I had already seen it.

5. She was cooking a while ago.

These are five different sentences. Can you help me rectifying the errors, if there are any?

e. if we're talking right now that's how you would say it, normally, however if there is a past frame of reference then the sentence would be ok, for instance if you were telling me how somebody invited you to see a movie but you refused because you had already seen it and weren't interested. your other sentences seem ok to me.

If there is no 'past' context No 4 should be I have already seen it, i.e. if we're talking right now that's how you would say it, normally, however if there is a past frame of reference then the sentence would be ok, for instance if you were telling me how somebody invited you to see a movie but you refused because you had already seen it and weren't interested.
