sentence doubt

If I write this sentence: "However, just as fast as the dismantle of the british empire was, the recover of its economy took place.", will it be correct?

If someone was able to answer me, I would be forever grateful.

If I write this sentence: "However, just as fast as the dismantle of the british empire was, the recover of its economy took place.", will it be correct? No. There are a number of problems. Say something like

"However, just as fast as the dismantling of the British Empire was the recovery of its economy."

The recovery of the British economy took place just as fast as the dismantling of the empire.

or

As fast as the dismantling of the British Empire was, its economic recovery was equally fast.
