Which one is correct?
Do you know who I am?
Do you know who am I?

How should each one (I am vs am I) be used in a sentence? Please explain briefly.

He doesn't know who I am. The underlined part is an indirect question.
Do you know who I am? The underlined part is an indirect question.

In indirect questions, we do not invert subject and verb.
