Sentence diagram

If I were diagramming the following sentence, where would the words "last Saturday" be placed?

Last Saturday, we stayed inside.

Last is an adjective modifying Saturday, right? But what type of phrase is that?

inside is a noun (naming a place) and is the object. If it were inside the house, then inside would be a preposition, house being the object of the preposition.

I hope I am not wrong here, I am not an expert. I was searching the web for info on diagramming sentences. It is good to know that people are concerned about the use of our language. :-)
