Sentence correctness

Hello,

Is this sentence correct: "I advise not to support such behavior."

I know you can say: "I advise not supporting such behavior." But is the first sentence considered correct too?

No. You have to advise someone. That part is missing.

I advise you not to ....

If you use the -ing form, that's an exception. You don't have to mention who you are advising in that case. That's why the second sentence is OK.
