sentence correctness

Hi
Could you tell me if the underlined portion is correct?

Poems are like art. One pours out one’s innermost feelings onto paper. The only difference being that in poems these feelings are expressed through words in stanzas not strokes on paper.

Top answer

Few works of art are drawn on paper; most are painted on canvas, carved in stone, or cast in bronze, for instance. On the other hand, most poems are written with strokes or printed on paper. So you might like to rethink your word choices.
