Sentence correction please
There are couple of idiomatic expressions in the below sentence, which I wrote, that I am not sure of their grammatical correctness.
Would someone kindly elaborate on the sentence below and see if there is any awkwardness?
Seoul’s Myungdong, which ranked as 8th most expensive shopping district in the world last year, took a little downfall(?), landing 9th in this year's poll, while New York’s 5th avenue continued to enjoy its reign as the most expensive shopping street for 10 straight years.
