Sentence correction and order

I was late a few times because I did not know that I had to be there for preparations all mornings/ all mornings for preparations.

Does it make a difference if I used either of the endings to the sentence above. Word order confuses me sometimes. Are either one correct or what?

Both are OK except that "all mornings" should be "all morning". Personally, from a stylistic viewpoint, I prefer "had to be there all morning for preparations".
