Sentence correction

Hello Dear Forum Members,

Could you please say which of the underlined forms is correct? Thank you.

1) Life as a high school and a university student is/are two different experiences.

2) There is/are a majority of similarities between high schoolers and university students.

3) The length of classes also differs/varies radically.
