Hi,
I'm not sure the structure in the following sentence is correct or not. Please, correct me.
"Since our first date, until now, years after we got married, I’ve never been to my husband's house."
Thank you in advance.
Did you go to your husband's house on your first date? The idea of never having been to your husband's house is odd. When people get married, they normally live together, so your husband's house is also your house.

The idea of never having been to your husband's house is odd. When people get married, they normally live together, so your husband's house is also your house. I wonder whether perhaps you mean the house of your husband's family, e.g. where your husband's parents live.
