Hi.

I forgot to tell her to write to you.

I forgot to tell her writing to you.

You inadvertently left out 'her'.

"forget" + -ing is of very limited use. My guess is that it's "forget to" + verb 99% of the time.

He did a terrible job fixing the fence. You can forget giving him a tip. (Don't give him a tip.)

But you wouldn't say, She forgot givi
