This sounds odd to me. I live in the US. When someone says, " I do my laundry on Sunday", it means he is washing his dirty clothes on Sunday. This may mean that he puts his dirty clothes in his own washing machine to wash, or he may be taking his clothes to a "laundromat ". My observation tells me
