I think she wants to go back to Hollywood for cosmetic surgery.

Can this be said?

Standard English is 'for . . . surgery'.

'For a . . . surgery' / 'for . . . surgeries' is becoming more common, but in my opinion this use of
'surgery' as a countable noun is not yet standard.

Yes, Precious, it's perfect the way you've written it. Do NOT change it to "for a cosmetic surgery" - that would sound a little less natural to most native speakers.
