Sentence correction

Hello. I've written an essay on technology ,and more particularly on automation, but I am not sure whether the sentences below are correct. Could you please help me?

1)Consequently, automation may lead us to a great booming and, why not, to another admirable progression in history.

2) Automation, which is part of pioneering technology, does not only mean less-or even at all-staff in the workplace. It also entails more ingenious machines, and as a result what was once considered state-of-the-art will be obsolete in the future.

3) In case of an accident, the destruction of ecosystems will just be a small introduction compared to what will happen next.
