If the holiday falls on Monday, the following Tuesday will be closed instead on the Monday.

Does the above sentence correct?

Thanks.

Hi I would say that you need a subject for "closed" and that "instead" needs "of". Perhaps... - If the holiday falls on Monday, we will be closed on the following Tuesday, instead of the Monday.

Hello Dave,

Thank you for your answer.
I changed the subject of the sentence from your correction. Are the following two sentences correct?

- If the holiday falls on Monday, the museum will be closed on the following Tuesday, instead of the Monday.
- If the holiday falls on Monday, the shuttle bus won't be operated on the following Tuesday, instead of the Monday.
