Sentence correction

I wanna know if the sentence below, which I wrote, is grammatically correct or needs some correction.

"It’s hard not to think that much of what people have feared is slowly turning into reality after hearing about a survey conducted by the Supreme Court which shows that, besides already enjoying the highest divorce rates in the world, there is a huge uptick in divorce rates among newly wedded couples."
