Sentence correction

Hi,
are the following sentences correct?

1) I am glad I took up that course. It has really opened my eyes.
2) Make sure you do not use German once you start chatting with me.
3) I don´t believe he has been charged with theft. He´s too much of a good guy to do that.
4) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the greatest of the seven Harry Potter movies,because it took/has taken a big step up in maturity.
