Sentence correction

Let me ask you another question. Let us suppose that Mr. X signs a deal with the government which you think harmful for your people and you are bold enough to criticize him for it and demand an explanation from him. Now, rather than explaining why he struck the deal, Mr. X let loose one of his goons on you. You run away to avoid fighting, and urge him to behave and settle the issue in a gentlemanly way. Yet, he refuses to heed you and runs after you wielding a stick. In such a situation what will you do?
