Sentence correction

Dear members,

Is the following sentence correct?

This forum is crammed with plenty of resources, fun and members. I must say its a creative one. some of the e-books uploaded are my hot fav. I was asked to join here by a good brother of mine.

Thanks alot for your reply. What do you suggest to make it formal? Can i write "I was requested by a good brother of mine to join here" Or "I was requested by a good friend of mine to join here."

Hey there should also be a comma after the word "fun". Resources, fun, and members. Correct?

What do you suggest to make it formal? Can i write "I was requested by a good brother of mine to join here" Or "I was requested by a good friend of mine to join here." Calling someone your brother is informal, unless he is really your brother. "Join here' is not idiomatic. Just say 'join', or 'join this Forum.'

'Hot fav' is also informal. It's s
