Sentence Construction for 'not only... but also'

Example 1. The nursed treated him patiently. The nurse treated him kindly.

Ans.The nurse treated him not only patiently but also kindly.

Example 2. She nursed him patiently. She nursed him kindly.

Ans.She nursed him not only patiently but also kindly.

I'd like to know which one is more grammatical and natural.

Thanks in advance.
