Sentence construction

Hi,

I'd love to get some input on the construction of a few sentences. If possible, please include brief explanations, as they would be really helpful.

In the first example, I'd like to know which sentence most accurately utilizes prepositions.

A) "These views form the basis OF my love FOR working with words."
B) "These views form the basis FOR my love OF working with words."

In the second example, I'd like to know which sentence illustrates proper verb use.

A) "I believe that strong writing can MAKE a powerful impact on its audience."
B) "I believe that strong writing can HAVE a powerful impact on its audience."

Looking forward to your feedback. Many thanks.
