Sentence Construction

Hi everyone!

I need help. Could you write to me how to say in Eglish when we are in a restaurant and want to tell the waiter that we would like to pay fifty-fifty (separately). I am talking about those situations in which two people (or groups) would like to pay fifty-fifty.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You don't need to tell the waiter.

Here's the basic idea.
If the total amount you have to pay is eg $20, each person normally just puts $10 on the table. Then one person hands it to the waiter.
