Sentence confusion

I want to inform a resident that their parcel has been delivered . I don't know if they were expecting the parcel. Please advise which of the following sentence to use.
1. I believe you were expecting a parcel, but it has been delivered at the concierge.
2. I believe you are expecting a parcel, but it has been delivered at concierge.
