0 If it's any consolation, the sentence makes no sense to me. But I've never been to church so, I guess, religious texts are just gobbledegook to me. If this sentence were in an English exam, i would be very offended, since it requires quite an intimate knowledge of a specific religion as well as an extremely good grasp of English (better than mine - and I'm a native!) 0-
