Can you please tell me which sentence is correct?

or

Help John pumps air in his tyre

Hi Maggie, I don't use the "to" in that construction. Many others do. Either one will be fine.

The above sentence is correct. You can omit to before the infinitive pump if you like. The American spelling for tyres is tires.

Nope, I sure didn't. I saw the "to" as the only difference and missed the "pumps."
