Hello!
Please help me with these sentences:
- Can we say “to estimate by appearance”? Because it seems incorrect to me, shouldn’t there be “judge” or sth else?
- It can be induced by many factors such as a death in the family, divorce, loss of a job, serious disease, a bad accident, old age, low self-esteem, unsatisfied desires, disappointment with one's personal or professional life, alcohol abuse and workload. (shouldn’t there be “as death in a family”?)
- More than fifty per cent of Polish people complain of stress and feel anxious. (shouldn’t be “about” instead of “of”?)
- For fear of suffering humiliation in front of their classmates, they break off contacts with their peers, play truant or drop out of school. (do we use “for fear of sth” or should it be “out of fear of”?)
- “a hang-up about school” does it mean “the fear of school”?
Thanks a lot.
