Hi!Please help me with the following sentences:1.It is commonly known that people who often laugh are more successful in life. Why? The answer is simple. First, they make friends more easily than ill-humoured fellows. Second, they never take themselves too seriously and this helps them maintain mental balance. Third, they are being employed with a better grace than non-smiling workers.(should there be "are being employed" or just are employed?)2.A very helpful thing is also the language of the body: a smile, glance, mimicry, gestures or even the way we lean the head. (should there be instead of "the language of the body" just "body language"?)3.They spend their leisure time in many different ways. Although in general they lead a rather hectic life, they find it important to relax and to have some fun. (should there be: lead rather a hectic life or is it already correct?)4.The radio broadcasted mawkish, sentimental songs which were lacking in naturalness, sincerity and vigour. (should "in" even be there at all?)5.The most popular means of transport in the United States is the car. (should there be "a" car?)Thanks.

2..Another helpful things is body language..gestures, or even (serial comma!)..

3..although they generally lead a rather hectic life..

4..no comma between mawkish and sentimental (the Englisg do not usually seperate adjectives with a comma..remember the comma rule in English: when in doubt, don't!)...but serial comma in " sincerity, and vigour.."

5.. should be "transportation"..

(should there be "are being employed" or just are employed?) Either one may be used, but I don't understand 'with a better grace'.

(should there be: lead rather a hectic life or is it already correct?) To my ear 'a rather hectic life' is the correct version, but the other version may be OK in BrE.

4.The radio broadcasted mawkish, sentimental songs which were lacking in naturalness, sincerity and vigour. (should "in" even be there at all?) Both 'lacking' and 'lacking in' are acceptable. I would not change it. I believe the past of 'broadcast' is 'broadcast'. It's one of those that don't change.

5.The most popular means of transport in the United States is the car. (should there be "a" car?) No. It's fine as is.
