What I live For?

Every living thing on my sweet planet lives until it dies and every thing has some aim that they live for. People live for their future and how they are going to solve their problems. I my life, I want to live to give back to my community, to be remembered as a good person, and to enjoy my life.

My community has been an important part of my life. It has given my identity. My believes depend on my culure. I have been following my cutural believes since I was born. Basically, my culture made me what I am today. It’s been a pleasure because of the development of my community in all fields. A proof of Indian’s being mature, sensitive, smart and generous is proved by Indian’s being scientists, doctors, engineers and last but not least teachers. Competition between culutre shows that Indian culture is one of the richest cultures. Since I havn’t done anything to make my culture so rich. Its time for me to give back something that makes us proud on being Indians. I can do that by participating in multicultral programs, working hard enough to show that I have sense of humanitarian, given by our elders. I would like to help other communities to learn about our culture, since they are intersted in knowing about us. Just like my cultures, I too want to be intersting to others.

Being a good person is important to me because there should be a clue that I was ever born. To be a good person, I have to do somethink that make me feel that I have done something good in my life. If my kidneys and my eyes ended up fine untill I die, I’ll feel more than happy to donate them. Actually, just thinking about doing something good, makes me proud of my self. I can’t wait untill I die to do something good so I’m planing to donate blood. I’ll use my hobby, singing all kinds of Hindi and Punjabi songs, to make people happy but I don’t want to end up as a singer. I’m hoping just being kind to people, helping my friends and family and good performance in school will give me enough popularity. I don’t want to spend my life doing social work all life, I also need to enjoy my life.

All I have is the present time to enjoy my life. Who know what will happen in the future? Besides when I was a child, I didn’t know anything. When I’m older, I won’t have time to enjoy my life. I’ll have to go to the Job, worry about paying bills, not to get late, to get up at time, investing money and so on. I guess the most important thing is to have fun within the people we love I am going to India for my sister marriage, to have lots of fun with my friends and family.. Human body is gifted to enjoy my life. I want freedom to leave this country whenever I want to, to find a life partner, I want to do?

I want to live my life to get people’s interest in my cuture, to be remembered as a good person, and to have fun in my life. After I die, people can still remember me as a part of socity and as a good citizen. The question is Can I really achieve my Goals?

The word COTTONIANS is very familiar because we find many well known & famous COTTONIANS all over the world, from north to south, from east to west for example

(a) Ms JAYALALITHA JAYARAMAN (now the CM of TAMILNADU)

(b) Ms NAFISA JOSEPH (crowned femina Miss INDIA UNIVERSE in the year 1997)

(c) Ms RANI JOAN JEYARAJ (crowned femina INDIA WORLD in the year1996)

(d) Ms KIRAN MAJUMDAR SHAW who has been awarded the PADMA BUSHAN award in the year 2005 etc.

And that’s not the end of it we have many more COTTONIANS who have flourished in many other fields in & around the world,so this shows that COTTONS is ment to turn out COTTONIAN’S into a good human being with good qualities that would help them to serve the Country.

Another glorious chapter about COTTONS is the President of INDIA Dr A P J ABDUL KALAM visited the campus on the 5^th of Nov 2004 which brings a lot of pride to the Institution, in today’s world the name COTTONIANS is so very famous because of the hard work put forth by the staff & the management for the betterment of their students. So I am proud being a COTTONIAN.
