95% of the people will say "me." They will say "I" sound stuffy and overly formal.

5% (my estimation) will insist it's only "I." They will say "me" shows a decline in the use of English and wring their hands at how poorly people speak these days.

Make everyone happy and use "than I am." No one objects to that.
