Sentence check

Hi,

are the following sentences correct?

1] The mayor has resigned due to the bribery case,in which he played a significant role.

2] The policeman asked him to roll down the window and ordered him to show ID card and a driving license.

3] -What was the party like?
- It sucked. Jim didn't come,everybody was just drinking and doing crazy stuff,not to mention that there were vomits all over the place. It was an appaling experience.

4] If I weren't good at computers,I wouldn't have set up Microsoft!

5] -We're/will be seeing aunt Jane on Monday. Do you wanna come/Are you coming with us?
- No thanks. I have a bigger fish to fry.


6] We'll discuss that later./We'll be discussing that later.
(what is the difference between using the simple or continuous tense in such case?)

7] You've been asking yourself why you dumped him,and I can tell you that it was the dumbest thing you've ever done.

8] This dress goes well with these court shoes.
