Vocabulary

sentence at the end of an informal letter

I'm looking for an alernative way to end an informal letter, rather than using " I'm looking forward to hearing from you."

Here is something i came up with:

"Please write back soon as I'm really curious about an update on what's happening in your life."

Is it possible to use this sentence or does it sound somewhat odd?

Thanks in advance for helping

It's fine if you feel like you need to pad out your letter with unnecessary verbiage.

Truly informal letters don't require any particular ending, not even the one you quoted above.
