Sentence analysis- help with this sentence please.

He is looking a bit lean and keen, something I know Tony finds very unattractive.

What phrase type is the italicised words? Is it adverbial? If so, answering what?

It seems to be just a pronoun with a relative clause with a noun clause inside of that...

Help would be great thanks.

Thanks, Clive.

I thought exactly as you stated; however, I didn't think a word can be in apposition to adjectives. I thought a word can only be in apposition to nouns, not adjectives....

But you have put me straight.

Thanks again.

(that) I know (that) Tony finds very unattractive' consists of two nested relative clauses describing 'something'.

Something that.... This is a relative pronoun. However,

I know that.....that is a complementizer; that is, it is a noun clause, not a relative clause. A relative clause follows a noun, not a verb.

Not very relevant, however.
