Sentence analysis

Dear teachers,

Would you please tell me if my analysis is correct?

a) The thought of slavery made men like William Wilberforce sad.

the thought of slavery = subject
made = complex-transitive verb
men like WW = direct object
sad = object complement

b) The members at the meeting elected the candidate nominated first president after a long session.

I don't know how to parse this one:

the members at the meeting = subject
elected = complex transitive verb
the nominated candidate = direct object
first president = object complement
after a long session = optional adverbial of time

OR
elected = mono-transitive verb
the nominated candidate first president = direct object

c) The dolphins pushed the trainers along with their noses.

the dolphins = subject
pushed along = mono-transitive verb
the trainers = direct object
with their noses = optional adverbial of manner

Thank you for your help.
