Sentence

please correct my sentence :

usually we tell the time that ' it is 6'o clock ' or ' it's 6a.m ' like that.

But my doubt is that if we have to tell that ' it will be 8 soon ' or

'it is nearing 6' or 'it is going to be 8 soon'. Which one is correct and how to express it?
