Grammar

sentence

Hi

Please tell me if these are OK.

Context: It is the answer to the question"Do you need another essay?"

"Yes, I would like to have another essay; it would be helpful." "Yes, I would like to have another essay, for it would be helpful."

I think the sentences are grammatical, but is it OK to split them here?

I will tell you about this one: I would like to have another one, for it would be helpful.
