Hi
Please tell me if this sentence is fine.

Two of my pupils were awarded Merit Certificates in English each in the AISSE 2006 and AISSE 2007.

Can I convey the same idea in this way?

Four of my pupils, two in the AISSE 2006 and two in the AISSE 2007, were awarded Merit Certificates in English.
