Sentence

Hi
Would this sentence be acceptable in standard English:
That he writes good poems was believed by them.

I understand that the sentence does sound a lot odd, but would you consider it?

Thank you.

Prajwal; It is grammatically fine. A noun clause is the subject. The better phrasing, of course, is the active voice, rather than passive voice.
