Grammar

sentence

Hi
Please tell me whether this sentence is OK,
Context: uttered to a student after going through the study material he has got.

Let us use them to explore, unlearn, learn, and develop and finally enrich ourselves with whatever possible.

Top answer

It seems rather drawn out and ends with a whimper instead of a bang. Perhaps this would be more realistic: Let's use it ['material' is non-count] to explore, learn, and enrich our understanding.

Thank you, Mister Micawber.
The word unlearn though I thought it may be a little vague, I wanted to know whether it is passable there.
I used unlearn to refer to the fact that while we explore for knowledge in a new topic, we may be required to change the way we have understood certain things.

The word is passable; what concerns me is the length of the list. It is not such good style.
