sentence

'If you are willing to do a year abroad, you are promised to have a good time.'

How can we say this more natural? I guess 'you are promised' could be replaced... but I don't know how. I mean that they promise you to have a good time.
I want to let this sentence sound like a native would have said it.
Thanks in advance

There is nothing wrong with the original sentence. You might prefer "we/they promise you a good time."

Oh, that's nice. Emotion: smile
When I wrote this, my teacher told me it's not natural English. This would just be an incorrect translation fr

I "liked" Philip's reply, and totally agree with CalifJim's verification.
There is, however, something I'd like to say about sentences beginning with "if."

If you are willing to do a year abroad, we/they will/can promise you a good time.
For me, the word "if" signals a need for the first conditional.
What do you guys think?
