Sentence

Hello teachers,

how do we say that,when we meet a person after a long time?

"hey long time no see..." or "it has been a long time we met"

which s correct. i have heard dat ppl using both sentences.

If its wrong pls correct it.

Dear Uncle Joe: "Long time no see" is a very familiar expression and it does, indeed, mean "it's been a long time since we have seen eachother". "Long time no see" is a bit dated, however. I don't hear people say it that much anymore.
